Irma Vado (Irma Vaidotaite) is an independent artist from Kaunas, Lithuania, working across songwriting, vocal performance, production, mixing, and mastering. With 4 albums and a catalog of 50+ released tracks, she operates fully independently, handling every stage of the creative process.

Rooted in R&B, her sound draws from hip-hop, pop, jazz, and native rhythmic elements, but avoids strict genre definition. Each record is built around emotion and narrative rather than formula, allowing the sound to evolve project by project.

Lyricism is central to her artistry. Her writing explores themes of identity, philosophy, and personal evolution. She is known to be bluntly honest when it comes to her pen.

Irma’s approach is both consistent and experimental - she works in albums. Each season becomes a space to create a body of work that reflects a specific moment in time. Every project serves as a reset point, refining her skills and reshaping her artistic identity. The result is a catalog that reflects independence, range, and a clear creative voice.

Alongside music, Irma writes philosophical pieces and books, extending the same mindset beyond sound.

Being an independent artist is fun and exhilarating. The creative freedom to make songs as you see fit and have no blocks to release it - an ultimate creative experience. You drown in the ideas and then swim in execution because the will is in your hands, and your hands only. You make a plan of all the things you want to do, all the ways you could surprise your fans and then you get a quick reality check, which happens to be: "How much of this I can afford"?

Making music does not cost me a thing. If I have time, I write it down. I may need a plugin or too but more or so rarely. Sometimes a synthesizer is all you need. The distributor takes a little bit but you can easily cover it even working the shittiest jobs. As long as you have time.

I would be lying if I said that it is sustainable. As much as I love making music for my own joy, I just as much want to create an experience for someone else and make sure they get a feeling that they never had before. Either through songs, visuals, instrumentation, or live shows.

As someone who's been supporting herself her whole life I have never in my life asked for a handout. Everything was earned. Through sweat, stress, time and dedication. I still to this day would not ask money with no reason or anything in return. Some may say it's kind of dumb, but I guess it's my personality trait.

Luckily, by now I have a few things to offer. Something you can own and cherish, in return of supporting an independent artist like me.

I will link some of these things below, and if you feel like helping out - just know how much grateful I will be.
Message me if you will to let me know so I can personally say thank you.

All the best,
Irma Vado
